A Sephora is a Sephora, and while it may not be the big box store he's used to at Lilycove its still got all the essentials and it is STILL a good time. The only thing he lacked was a cup of Starbucks but they didn't have that here. Though, he was sure there was a little boba place nearby within walking distance. Perhaps they should head there next? He'd ask Cygne if she still had the energy.

His hand is gripped tightly around Cygne's wrist, grinning excitedly as he dragged her away from clearance. They had that inside the Sephora too, please. "Ok, ok, ok- So first thing's first I am gonna need a concealer, and a matte foundation since I'm going to be using so much more of this while training." he said, ignoring the stares. Fair skin was covered in purple and red marks. "What about you? Restocking anything? Wanna try something new?"

"Oh, that's ok! Do you wanna try?" he asked with a big grin, hoping the answer was an ENTHUSIASTIC YES. "I love makeup. I'm even getting into special effects type stuff!" he said. If only to make his disguises for missions even better. If only he could change his height but leaning how to walk in heels and platforms was as good as it was going to get.

"Having one beauty blender is fine as long as you wash it you know?" he said before adding quickly. "To be honest, most of my looks I use my fingers and then a little brush or two for touch ups." Cut creases were the enemy. He's absolutely not phased at all as they entered the white and black, clean and bright space. He turned to Cygne and added. "If you wanna try new stuff we can always grab a bunch of shit from clearance?"

Mint's soul was indeed leaving his body because when she said she didn't wash it, Mint could only picture those gross tiktoks where they cut into the old beauty blenders and shared all the mold and caked makeup that was left in them. "Cygne." he said, tone serious, eyes holding nary a glint or shine of excitement for a moment. "You are getting a new sponge. They cost like a dollar and I'm sure we can find one with Christmas packaging from last year on clearance." he said.

He perked up taking her to his preferred brand and began talking. "Well, to be honest, I think for a beginner to use consistently, Nudestix is the beast. It's all brushless application. Basically the draw for me was that you don't really need brushed, just a make up wipe and your fingers to apply. It's a lot of natural looking make up with some really harsh pigments for lips or highlight if you want. But they also have these sticks you can, if you wanted to, use for lips, cheeps, and eyes." he said rambling off as he began picking up a concealer and dapping the tester on his wrist.

He pointed at the products, "Also all of these come in cute tins with a mirror so u can have your 2 in 1 compact and product moment." he added. "But, you know, just kinda grab anything you like. If it looks cool just pick it up." he shrugged, truly exemplifying how much he was flying by the seat of his pants. "When do you usually wear make up?"

"Yeah, and I get that's why you didn't know but...those things can grow bacteria and mold- which can lead to acne or infection on your skin or eyes." he said, frowning at her. She agreed though, and he would help her, picking out cheaper, alternatives for things she would use often.

"Mmmm, then we can grab a neutral palette that's easy to use." he said, picking up a small box of browns and using his index finger to swatch a dark brown that looked to have flakes of gold in it. "Just to set you up with some good, easy to use basics. I- Well I don't wear make up all the time but. Often enough." he said, pausing to pull out his phone and find his insta.

He picked a post with a close of a couple of mint green and blue eyes looks he'd tested out the other day. "Cool land fun you know?" he said before adding. "I gotta get good if I wanna do movie effects. That stuff takes forever sometimes."

"Neutrals are boring but....you can do a lot if you know how to contour." he explained with a shrug. It was no secret he was into brights and the like. Eve his gym clothes were loud. He lets out a happy giggle as he slid his phone back into his pocket. "Thank you, I try. This took me a lot tries by the way!" he said, assuring her.

"Just takes practice!" That'd be a common comfort today. "Well- yeah. Intel's my game and I kinda stand out most of the time." he said, a little too proudly. "Make up can change a lot about your face but special effects literally change the game for him. Camoflauge, imitation etc." he said idly testing a bullet lipstick on his wrist. Black oddly enough.

He set back dow nthe tested and grabbed another one, a dark green bullet this time. He seemed to be staring down at his skin, maybe waiting to see if he got a bad reaction. He looked up and nodded at Cygne. "Yeah, yeha, exactly! Sure there's a lot of money in technology and holograms but if that fails, maybe a make up pallette won't?" he replied.

"You know, for insurance purposes. You know how theater kids sometiems gotta do really fast costume changes too? That could be pretty handy in a pinch." he added. Though, that was probably a more James Bond kind of a mission. "I guess that's the worst case scenario...but better prepared than not, right?" he said.

"You lookin' to get into intel?"

"Exactly! Never know what uh- electric type manned EMP magnowave could screw over all your tech." he said with a laugh, keeping his voice low. "That's why I wanted to train with you too. jayden cross suggested I get with people other than him, since he's gotten busier and busier." he explained.

Mint picked up a little container of what appeared to be straight clear gel with bright orange glitter in it. Oh- maybe a glitter roots look would be cute?

He tugged at a piece of cyan hair comparing the product to see if it was a good enough contrast. "I'm not smart at all, and I'm doing it." he said wit ha grin up at the blonde. "Intel is really vague. It's all kinds of stuff like- for example. Spies are typically what you could consider HUMINT. But we also have the tech to use photo satellites so, SIGINT. Gathering data and coalescing it into big graphs and maps off social media would be OPINT. Etc, etc, etcetera." he explained with a small shrug. "Maybe you'd be really good interfacing with people? Or maybe you just are really good as getting in somewhere, taking photos, and getting out. I think it's pretty open, field wise." he said, as he tossed the little orange glitter capsule into a small basket.

He seemed to frown, but forced a smile to stay plastered on his face as he cut off his own tangent. "You're trying- that counts as useful doesn't it?" Mint's words seem to carry the additional weight of his own turbulent thoughts and insecurities. Before he can let his eyes speak for him too long, he poignantly turned away looking down at the gold. "Oooh, a gold lip liner? Pretty versatile. Personally I love the drawing little starts on my face with them."
